My main interest lies in ultrasound, an area in which I have over 30 years of experience as an ultrasound specialist. At The Health Suite in Leicester, I offer advanced ultrasound scans for the neck and salivary glands (including thyroid and parotid glands), as well as for chest, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas and other abdominal organs. Qualifications and education
My medical journey began in New Delhi, India, where I graduated in 1982 before serving as a Doctor within the Army Medical Corps. I moved to the UK for further specialist radiology training in Leicester, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2000. Since 2005, I have worked as a consultant radiologist in the NHS and built a reputation as a skilled ultrasound doctor and teacher.
Passionate about radiology training and education, I have held roles as a College Tutor, Educational Supervisor in Leicester, and Examiner for the FRCR Part 2b examination at the Royal College of Radiologists, London. As founder and organiser of the pioneering Leicester Ultrasound Training Course, I help advance the teaching of diagnostic imaging both locally and internationally, ensuring the next generation of radiologists benefit from the same commitment to excellence that I bring to my private patients.
